Job Summary:

At Network Designs, Incorporated, we are seeking a talented, results-oriented, adaptable technical project manager that thrives when leading people and managing projects. The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects while ensuring customer requirements are met and expectations exceeded. The Technical Project Manager provides leadership, assures quality deliverables and makes technically sound recommendations based on industry-accepted best practices and management fundamentals.

Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship is required.

This position is currently hybrid (remote/onsite) and will require working onsite, at minimum three days a week. (Transportation benefits are available!)

Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor of Science, Computer Science, or related field.

At least seven years of experience.

Demonstrated exemplary project management best practices, holding an active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Experience working directly with government agencies; actively managing conflicting priorities while leading a multidisciplinary team of professionals.

Possess excellent verbal, written, customer/government, and cross-cultural communication skills, coupled with high emotional intelligence and a passion for developing others.

Proficient in developing project management artifacts, including plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.

Successfully implemented Agile methodologies using collaborative tools and project management issue tracking software such as Confluence, Jira, and Kanban.

Lead multidisciplinary teams with strong knowledge of business and resource management, and familiarity with organizational theory.

Experience in process improvements through the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI).

Dedicated the past three years to defining organizational project cloud migration objectives and requirements that align with enterprise cloud vision and initiatives.

Managed enterprise IT projects and cloud technologies in an operational, multi-tenant environment on commercial Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) like AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities:

Manage cloud software projects, micro-services, and DevSecOps within an Agile/Scrum framework.

Provide leadership to a cross-functional team while managing the customer relationship.

Develop project charters, management plans, baselines, and sub-plans.

Direct and manage project work: Track change requests, monitor work performance data, and update and brief on project progress, issues, and risks.

Develop high-level tasks using Agile methodologies: Consistently communicate with the product owner and other stakeholders, lead Scrum events, and create Scrum artifacts.

Assemble and coordinate project staff in a matrixed organization: Collaborate with business analysts and technical writers to ensure comprehensive definition of business requirements.

Monitor, control, and report project progress: Track deliverables using appropriate tools, update project scope, and define "done" requirements and deliverables.

Perform integrated change control: Approve or reject changes, use change control tools, update project management plans, and prevent unnecessary changes.

Manage project knowledge: Evaluate project results, prepare detailed summaries, incorporate lessons learned into meetings, and share information to improve future projects.

Utilize milestones to align project management with the software development life cycle.

Properly close out projects: Ensure scope satisfaction, gain acceptance from the customer and sponsor, and obtain formal and final acceptance of project results.
