Human Resources PartnerJob Summary:The Human Resources Partner position is responsible for cultivating continuous organizational evolution by aligning business objectives with employees and management. The Human Resources Partner coordinates and/or provides guidance on human resource functions across assigned business units, including benefits, workforce planning, performance management, recruitment/retention, and employee relations. Maintain positive employee relations that improve staff morale, reduce workplace conflict, and ultimately, increase productivity.Job Description:Duties & Responsibilities:Provide strategic HR Partner expertise to assigned client groups to maximize organizational performance.Translate operational strategy and organizational needs into solutions including organizational design and development, talent management, and change management.Take a systematic, insight and data-driven approach to influence strategies and help solve emerging departmental challenges.Act as a proactive and credible partner and advisor to leaders; bring thought leadership and experience to grow our leaders.Translate the HR needs of the college and deploy programs and processes in ways that bring value.Provide day-to-day employee relations support and guidance regarding human resource practices and problem resolution.Provide assistance to hiring managers for staffing planning, talent development, and operational impact.Provide guidance for performance management, probationary reviews, and performance improvement plans.Participate in employee investigations and support with documentation as needed.Provide initial absence, leave management, and accommodation guidelines to clients.Provide support for unemployment queries and labor relations matters.Provide information to Talent Acquisition team and assist in the hiring process.Assist with employee engagement projects such as recognition programs and wellness campaigns.Support talent-related efforts in recruitment and onboarding processes.Assist in providing HR and Payroll teams with interpretation of collective bargaining agreements.Collaborate with Employee and Labor Relations team on labor relations issues.Collaborate with Training/Engagement and Talent Acquisition divisions in new hire orientation and performance management.Collaborate with Benefits and Wellness division for benefit-related matters.Collaborate with HRIS and Compensation to ensure accurate information in Workday.Provide overall assistance and collaboration on HR projects and initiatives.Perform any/all duties as assigned.Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Understanding of operations and how human capital strategies drive outcomes.Strong ability to diagnose and use data to drive impactful plans.Systems thinker; connects dots and drives to a bigger picture.Consultative approach to business partnership.High collaboration; ability to effectively work across all levels.Very high emotional intelligence.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to organize work and meet deadlines.Ability to maintain composure under pressure.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to take initiative and work independently.Flexible and responsive to change.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree5 years of relevant experience in Human ResourcesPreferred Qualifications:Masters DegreeExperience working in higher educationAdditional HR certifications (SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR)Workday Experience strongly preferred.Salary Range:
$90,000 - $95,000Hours:
35 Hours a Week - Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days remote.The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on various factors, including departmental budgets and qualifications.Company:
