As part of our journey to build an iconic global brand and to educate audiences on the unique role Pinterest plays in people's lives, we are looking for a talented and dynamic Creative Director, Experiential to join our internal creative team - Pinterest House of Creative. This role requires a passionate leader with strong concepting skills and extensive experience in creating unforgettable brand experiences for both business and consumer audiences. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing experiential campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences across the US and Europe.
What you'll do:
Concept & Strategy:
Develop innovative and impactful experiential concepts and strategies that align with business goals, brand vision, and audience needs.
Storytelling:
Craft compelling narratives that enhance audience engagement and amplify brand messages through experiential channels. Communicate and deliver information verbally in a clear, concise, and compelling way.
Design environments + experiences:
Bring the Pinterest brand, product and concept to life through scenic design and experiential activations that inspire audiences.
Technology Integration:
Employ and integrate cutting-edge creative technology solutions to enhance experiential activations and bring Pinterest's product to life in unique and engaging ways.
Brand Systems & Guidelines:
Produce scaled experiential creative systems, templates, and guidelines.
Creative Leadership:
Provide creative leadership and direction to a multi-disciplinary team including fellow experiential producers and creatives, writers, designers, and art directors. Foster a collaborative and inspiring creative environment.
Cross-Market Experience:
Execute campaigns that effectively address cultural nuances and consumer behaviors in both US and European markets.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
Work very well with others during the execution of work, conversations, projects, meetings, or other interactions. Listen to multiple perspectives, act as a team player, and voice different perspectives respectfully. Partner with fellow creative and experiential specialists to ensure cohesive and aligned campaigns.
Diverse Portfolio:
Leverage a diverse portfolio of past work, showcasing your ability to deliver across a range of budgets and project scales.
Software Proficiency:
Utilize tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite for design and project collaboration. Experience with 3D modeling or sketch software is beneficial.
What we're looking for:
10+ years of experience in creative roles with a robust background in both agency and in-house environments.
Proven track record in concepting and executing experiential campaigns for B2B and consumer audiences.
Exceptional storytelling skills with a passion for creating immersive and engaging environments and experiences.
Expertise in integrating creative technology solutions to elevate experiential initiatives.
Demonstrated success in producing work for audiences in the US and Europe.
Strong creative leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a creative team through the complete creative process without direct management responsibilities.
Significant experience in managing diverse projects, showcasing adaptability and creativity within varied budget constraints.
Relocation Statement:
This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
In-Office Requirement Statement:
This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration one to two times per week on average and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from a Pinterest office.
