This position is located at Departmental Offices, Management CFO - Office of the General Counsel. As a Paralegal Specialist, you will be executing assignments of considerable difficulty and responsibility, with an emphasis on complex document reviews, document productions, and e-discovery matters.

Duties

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

For the GS-13:

One year of experience at the GS-12 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position must include all of the following:Experience managing the use and maintenance of e-discovery technology tools such as NUIX Discover, Autonomy, Encase, and Symantec Clearwell;Managing document reviews, document productions and electronic discovery (e-discovery) matters;Advising attorneys or other professionals on e-discovery case management.

For the GS-12:

One year of experience at the GS-11 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position must include all of the following:Experience utilizing e-discovery technology tools such as NUIX Discover, Autonomy, Encase, and Symantec Clearwell;Completing document reviews, document productions and electronic discovery (e-discovery) matters;Assisting attorneys or other professionals on e-discovery management.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or

volunteer service . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resumé.
