Physical Security Product Engineer Intro
The Physical Security Product Engineer plays a critical role within the Physical Security Engineering team. This team is responsible for engineering physical security technologies that support the banks internal security organization, with global deployment to safeguard facilities ranging from data centers and headquarters to banking branches and ATMs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical security systems, code development, and information security, with experience delivering solutions to large or medium enterprises.
Physical Security Product Engineer Job Details Responsibilities include leading the technical product management of one or more physical security products, serving as the main point of contact and subject matter expert. The role involves liaising with key stakeholders to manage the product life cycle, enforcing product roadmaps, evaluating and certifying technologies, providing 3rd level technical support, and writing and publishing designs and standards. The candidate will also be responsible for developing in-house solutions when commercial products are unavailable, ensuring compliance with the security standards and integration into enterprise management tools.
Physical Security Product Engineer Mandatory Skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Systems, or Information Security, or equivalent experience. - Up to five years of experience in an engineering role. - Thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows and Unix, with the ability to package in these environments. - Code development experience in .NET and SQL, with the ability to learn new languages quickly. - Good understanding of information security and industry best practices. - Strong technical writing skills and the ability to communicate ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. - High level of integrity due to the sensitive nature of the role. - Organizational and project management skills. - Ability to work independently with vendors to resolve issues and develop solutions. - Experience in building highly available infrastructures.
