Job Overview: Lummus Technology is looking for an experienced HR professional for a Sr. Manager, Human Resources, position at our office in Bloomfield, New Jersey. This position will be responsible for the overall Lummus employee experience. It will oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR function, including recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, career development, HR projects, and other aspects of the full employee life cycle. This position will also partner closely with the business to deliver strategic initiatives and regional people practices.

Key ResponsibilitiesActs as a change management agent for HR transformation to meet the growing needs and population of the business.Provides support and guidance to HR business partners, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive issues arise; may be required to navigate delicate circumstances such as employee relations issues, investigations, and terminations.Partners with leadership to understand and execute the organization's human resources and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.Partners with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure the timely filling of positions; participates in the interviewing and hiring process, particularly for managerial and hard-to-fill roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.Partners with Talent Management to foster an environment of continuous learning and development; identifies and supports initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.Partners with Total Rewards team to make compensation recommendations based on internal comparisons and market data to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.Provides support and guidance to HR business partners and managers on international HR matters, such as international assignments, visa issuance, travel assistance, and U.S. immigration.Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.Performs other duties as assigned.Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required.A minimum of twelve (12) years of human resources experience with five (5) years of experience in a leadership role preferred.Experience with change management or HR transformation initiatives preferred.HRIS systems integration experience is a plus.Experience with a Fortune 500 company is a plus.SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is a plus.Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
