Econometric Analyst
Job Description
CoStar Realty Information, Inc. seeks an Econometric Analyst to conduct economic data analysis as well as economic research and modeling. Create and execute economic analytic solutions to improve and optimize business performance. Conduct independent and creative quantitative research applied toward the evaluation and improvement of commercial real estate models, data series, and estimations. Perform data visualization and programming. Document models and analytic products and tools for external and internal clients.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, or a related field.
1 year of experience with creating and maintaining financial metrics and conducting economic data analysis.
1 year of experience applying econometric principles and quantitative methodologies.
1 year of experience running exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, and data mining.
1 year of experience writing reproducible, robust, and scalable analysis code.
1 year of experience with distribution analysis, probability theory, statistical testing, and regression.
1 year of experience working with large data sets.
1 year of experience with commercial-backed mortgage and related real property analysis.
1 year of experience with constructing time series prediction models in a professional setting.
1 year of experience with working with commercial mortgage-related data.
1 year of experience with econometric tax forecasting.
1 year of experience with forecasting revenue performance.
1 year of experience with Python, R, SAS or Stata.
Job Location:
San Francisco, CA
Rate of Pay:
$128,398.00 - $147,000.00 per year.
