VP of Public Product Positioning for MunicipalsThe VP of Public Product Positioning for Municipals works alongside the MD of Public Product Positioning, and the respective Heads of Client Marketing, to set product marketing strategy and objectives for Nuveen’s fixed income platform and capabilities. This leader will be responsible for supporting capital raising efforts and acting as a lead on product marketing for municipal fixed income globally. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to develop, deliver, manage, and measure the effectiveness of marketing activity in order to best position Nuveen for growth.Product marketing supports U.S. and non-U.S. distribution channels and partners closely with marketing colleagues globally to provide an integrated marketing approach. The position requires very close collaboration with members of product, client portfolio management and investments, and the individual will directly support efforts to raise awareness of our products and meaningfully grow and retain assets.Key Responsibilities and DutiesDevelops and leads product-specific marketing plans and creates content across municipal sectors, including investment grade and high yield municipals.As a marketing lead and subject matter expert, oversees the creation and production of municipal fixed income marketing collateral and product content that is aligned with business strategy and objectives.Partners with key stakeholders across product, investments, global client group and marketing to ensure competitive differentiation of products and leverage real-time learning to enhance marketing to optimally support sales execution.Develops and implements comprehensive marketing plans for new product launches, product actions and ongoing systematic campaigns including content strategy, creation, production and distribution through all marketing platforms.Drives development and execution of integrated municipal product and thought leadership campaigns leveraging paid, earned and owned marketing levers that can include digital, social, email, webinar, advertising, event and sales enablement, in close alignment with client marketing partners globally.Collaborates with brand, design, content, events, social and digital teams to execute and measure marketing initiatives and ensure proper alignment of resources.Partners with marketing generalists and marketing services teams to manage and implement updates of marketing collateral and web content including presentations, strategy profiles, product and market commentaries, web pages, paid search, paid social, display ads and other sales-support materials and content.Works with compliance department to ensure materials meet FINRA and/or SEC regulatory guidelines and supports compliance process from initial submission to final approval.Supports firm participation/sponsorship and/or other engagement in industry events, as appropriate.Takes initiative to explore new approaches to increase efficiency and improve processes without sacrificing creativity or quality.Educational RequirementsUniversity (Degree) PreferredWork Experience5+ Years Required; 7+ Years PreferredRequired Qualifications5+ years of asset management experience, with background in fixed income.Preferred Qualifications7+ years of asset management experience, with background in fixed income.7+ years of related asset management experience, with history of success in marketing investment products designed for income.Knowledge of fixed income markets and public products.Experience in writing clear, compelling and compliant marketing messaging.Proven relationship management experience.Experience working with institutional investors and wealth audiences, sales, investment teams, plus knowledge of sales process.Established credentials in leading the development and implementation of effective campaigns and communications programs.Demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects from beginning to end.Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe, Zoom, Seismic, MarTech workflow tool.Series 7 a plus.Anticipated Posting End Date:

2024-11-15Base Pay Range: $150,000/yr. - $190,000/yr.Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
