By continually enhancing current product lines and seeking to develop new technologies, Samsung is at the forefront of the imaging frontier.ROLE DESCRIPTION:The Point of Care Ultrasound Account Executive is responsible for driving sales and growth of Samsung’s ultrasound products within the Point of Care (POC) market segment, covering a large territory in the western United States. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in medical device sales, experience managing expansive geographic territories, and an entrepreneurial spirit to develop new business opportunities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Sales and Territory Management:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets within the assigned territory. Identify new sales opportunities and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.Customer Engagement:
Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service, product knowledge, and support tailored to the specific needs of POC clinicians, including emergency medicine, critical care, and musculoskeletal (MSK) specialists.Tradeshows and Events:
Lead and support regional and national trade shows, conferences, and events to promote Samsung’s ultrasound products, showcasing product advantages and generating new leads.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including clinical specialists, marketing, and product management, to ensure customers receive comprehensive support and to contribute customer insights to product development.Market Intelligence:
Stay informed about competitive products, market trends, and emerging POC applications to provide valuable feedback and adapt sales strategies accordingly.KOL Development and Management:
Identify, engage, and build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders within the POC ultrasound space. Collaborate with KOLs to gather insights, drive product adoption, and support educational initiatives that highlight product benefits and best practices.QUALIFICATIONS:Skills:
Strong territory management and organizational skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.KOL Engagement:
Experience in identifying and collaborating with Key Opinion Leaders to drive product awareness and educational initiatives.Communication:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence healthcare professionals.Travel:
Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the western U.S. territory.Mindset:
A proactive, self-driven attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit to succeed in a competitive and dynamic market.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in capital medical equipment sales, preferably in the ultrasound or imaging sector.Experience with CRM, preferably Salesforce.You must be comfortable with technology, be able to present using a laptop, tablet, or via the web.Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with MS Office package, including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint; as well as Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome.Familiarity with clinical and economic outcome data, reimbursement, and managed care policies and procedures is highly desirable.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.Must be able to sit and/or drive for long periods of time when travelling.Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8-15 hours) for multiple days.Regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather).Interaction with x-ray devices; for this reason strict safety and tracking programs are in place, requiring the utilization of dose monitoring equipment either full time or as necessitated by situation.The noise level in the work environment is occasionally very loud.Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.COMPETENCIES:High attention to detail.Understanding of industry terminology and ability to share and communicate effectively within the group.Ability to organize and prioritize tasks resulting in consistent productivity.Ability to function within and support a team environment and build strong working relationships.Dependable and punctual.Ability to meet accuracy and productivity goals.Good problem-solving skills, ability to evaluate situation and prioritize factors in decision making.Self-motivated, utilize available resources for self-improvement and development.Flexible: able to follow directives and accomplish tasks outside of normal duties.About Boston Imaging:Located North of Boston in Danvers, MA, NeuroLogica Corporation, who does business in the Ultrasound and Digital Radiography space as Boston Imaging, is a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics who develops, manufactures and markets innovative medical imaging equipment for healthcare facilities and private practices worldwide.
