As part of the Data Warehouse team, this Data Migration Tester will be primarily responsible for activities related to the testing of data migration, pre/post, pertaining to Medicaid Data Warehouse and Decision Support System (DW/DSS). This tester will work on Medicaid related data domains like: Claims, Managed care, Member eligibility, Provider enrollment information, Member managed care enrollment, Dual Eligible Members, and Financial Summaries. This team member will work with internal Gainwell teams and will work with large data sets. Here are the details on this position.

Your role in our mission

The core of this role will be doing System Integration Testing of a Data Warehouse Migration project deployed on Databricks platform on AWS cloudThis role involves: Testing entire system, Security Testing, Functional Testing, Performance Testing, Usability Testing, Compatibility Testing, and End to End TestingEnsure to-be-migrated data and migrated data is accurate and complete using techniques like Data Profiling, Data Cleansing, Data Validation Testing, Data Integrity Testing, and Data ComparisonTesting data migration process: Test actual data migration process including any data transformations and data mappingPerforming Non-Functional testing like: Performance Testing, Load Testing, Stress Testing, Availability Testing, and Security Testing.Demonstrated experience in writing SQL for Data Analysis and Data Quality ChecksExperience in testing data validation scenarios, data ingestion, pipelines, and transformation processes (e.g. ETL)Familiarity of Big Data engineering tools, like DatabricksDemonstrated experience of working with automated and manual testing processes and toolsDemonstrated experience of defect tracking and managementExperience of Agile Software Development & Testing methods for deployment in cloud environmentsWhat we're looking for

6+ years of experience with data warehousing and/or large and complex database management systemsStrong relational and dimensional data modeling and database design skillsExperience using ETL toolsExperience with client-centric consulting skills and excellent interpersonal communication skills to lead team membersMust have strong analytical, decision-making skills and the ability and experience to investigate complex business problems, develop effective recommendations, negotiate and/or present solutions, and resolve problems in a highly professional and tactful mannerWhat you should expect in this role

The pay range for this position is $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
