Job Overview
The Sr. Manager, Area Sales DHS directs and coaches the assigned Territory Managers and Account Managers to achieve annual sales and profit objectives. The position identifies and evaluates market opportunities and sales potential. The position formulates complex selling strategies and programs that both defend current Getinge revenue and create new avenues of revenue growth using DHS solutions (Torin, T-DOC, and Tegris) for markets within the assigned geography, in order to attain revenue goals, set by the company. The position requires the experience and expertise to lead critical and strategic projects and work streams, as well as the capability of promoting and leading process improvement initiatives. The position will influence key partners and cross-functional teams towards enhancing the team's capabilities. The Sr. Manager, Area Sales Digital Health Solutions ensures the management and implementation of company policies and best in class practices, evaluates performance, provides feedback, and assists in the career development of their direct reports.
This position supports the East half of the United States.
Job Responsibilities and Essential DutiesDevelop and articulates a strategic vision for areas of responsibility. Lead assigned department by developing, communicating, and building consensus for goals and programs that support division, business unit, and company objectives.Recruit, coach and develop organizational talent.Provide direction and guidance to team by evaluating performance and assisting in career development.Create an entrepreneurial environment and foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.Demonstrate effective change leadership and keep the organization's vision and values at the forefront of decision making and action.Develop and lead strategy for penetrating targeted accounts that will be identified through collaboration with various levels of management in the sales organization. Formulate cross-business unit sales strategies and plans for DHS and partner sales management, as well as other Getinge business units (SW, IC, ACT, and Service.)Lead the team and provide coaching on sales strategies and evaluating opportunities to achieve sales goals.Play a key role in the decision-making process during the development of contract proposals.Build strategic partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives. Interact internally and externally with executive level management, marketing team, service team, human resources, cross divisional directors, outside regulatory agencies, customers (key IDN's), vendors and/or suppliers.Ensure consistent communication is kept with client contacts and Field Sales (SWIC and ACT), including all levels of Getinge management.Analyze and report forecasts for bookings and revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis, as well as outlook for future months. Ensure that field team is accountable for correlating data such as sales process, project and short cycle pipeline data, lead management and accurate maintenance of CRM data and Travel and Expense systems.Monitor progress of departments or units toward divisional and company goals. Monitor all costs associated with assigned organizational unit as well as company-wide indicators such as market share and profitability, and industry trends and the external environment.Critically analyze sales data from a variety of sources, which includes using analysis to validate or create effective DHS sales and operational strategies; and introduce innovative ways and best practices of interpreting and applying data.Monitor and ensure DHS performance and customer service through regularly scheduled business reviews.Monitor and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations, etc.)Other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Advanced degree preferred.A minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT/SAAS Account Manager in the medical device industry, and/or 10 years of combined experience in a direct sales, and/or leadership role within the Medical Device Industry.7 years Healthcare IT/SAAS experience preferred.Must have a valid driver's license.Travel requirements approximately 50%.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Expert level understanding of Healthcare IT, IT Security, HIPAA, EMR, and Interoperability.Ability to enhance an entrepreneurial environment.Effective presentation and communication skills.Demonstrate expert level negotiation skills and effective change leadership.Ability to coach and guide others in effective and best practice negotiation skills.Ability to coordinate and lead multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.Experience leading and directing cross-functional teams of peers (without direct reporting relationship).Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate opportunity and data-driven solutions to senior management.Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Sales salary range: Total Compensation= $250,000 - $266,000 (base + at plan target incentive) depending on experience and location
