Responsibilities Are you ready to make an impact? We are looking for you to join our team as a cleared
Software Engineer . The successful candidate will have a strong working background in developing and operating cloud-based infrastructure for Government clients. They will also have experience deploying and debugging, systems administration, container management and orchestration, scripting & automation skills, and fundamental understanding of DevSecOps concepts.
In this role, you will be building environments using DevSecOps industry standard technologies such as Kubernetes and/or AWS EKS and will be proficient in Docker and/or Podman. You will also be developing CI/CD pipelines to facilitate deployments to these environments. Therefore, you will need to have a strong background in software development, preferably in Linux environments.
This position is based out of Melbourne, FL and will require the applicant to be within a commutable distance to provide on-site support.
This position will be responsible for the following but not limited to:DevSecOps oriented software engineer experienced with DevSecOps industry standard technologies and cloud environmentsDesign, build and deploy containerized software solutionsDesign, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and processes for automating deploymentsDesign and develop software applications in an Agile environmentDesign and develop Infrastructure as CodeDevSecOps oriented software engineer experienced with DevSecOps industry standard technologies and cloud environmentsDesign, build and deploy containerized software solutionsDesign, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and processes for automating deploymentsDesign and develop software applications in an Agile environmentDesign and develop Infrastructure as CodeQualifications
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI security clearance.Minimum of 12 years' experience with BS/BA; 10 years' experience with MS/MA; 7 years' experience with Ph.D.; 14 years' experience with AA/AS degree; in lieu of degree, 16 years of related experience is allowable.A current/valid Security+ certification (or equivalent DOD 8570 IAT II Level Certification) or ability to obtain the certification within 30 days of hire.Understanding of nuclear design and the science behind it (multi-disciplinary sciences).Must have an understanding of nuclear phenomena and the processing of NUDET data from the sensors and capability in multiple programming languagesExperience with application programming languages and build principles using C, C++ or JavaDeveloping software in a Linux environmentGitlab/GitKubernetesArtifactoryContainerization concepts using Docker or PodmanDeveloping CI/CD pipelines specifically for Gitlab (using Gitlab Runners)Deployment strategies using HelmScripting using Bash, Python etc.Developing Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Terraform, and HelmELK/EFK, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, FluentdAWS Console, AWS Services such as EC2, S3, and EKS, and Cloud ComputingFamiliarity with Certificate Authorities and PKIExperience building new test automationExperience with NiFiTarget Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
