POSITION: Business Finance Analyst

Reporting to the VP Venue Services and Support, the position is responsible for analyzing the company's performance, alongside changes and market trends; creating forecasts and analyzing variances between those forecasts and actuals while being able to explain the causes of these variances. Will assist in preparation and planning for initiatives and project related work as assigned by VP Venue Services and Support.
Below are duties included in the role but not limiting to:
Financial Analysis and ReportingIdentify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.Perform financial reporting, and operational metrics tracking.Support project owners and mangers with analysis and tracking of KPI's of deliverables towards the plan.Conduct financial data and create financial models for decision support.Conduct venue level analysis for corporate programs, projects and initiatives.Report on financial performance and prepare for regular management reviewsAnalyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.Various Project Related work to support Business SolutionsMaintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely helpful (BI tools such as Power BI, SQL, Business Objects)Project and Operations Support
Assess the current business processes in the Venues, developing and implementing best practices, and maintaining ongoing business process solutions. / Support initiatives affecting processes or platforms across the business through financial modeling and reporting.Assist in developing project management documents and plansAssist in the preparation of documentation and presentation materials.Assist in identifying and evaluating business process opportunities to drive business efficiency across the organization.Ability to support and co- ordinate project related initiatives within Finance and Operations as directed by Finance leadership.Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
3-5 years of business finance or other relevant experienceProficiency in business modeling techniques and presentation skillsStrong fluency with Excel formulasBachelor's degree required (Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics)Project Management skill a plus.Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical and data gathering skills.Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillsKnowledge of ERP, RPA, and BI systems and toolsAttention to accuracy and detail required.
