Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator. This position will located at our Bethel, CT facility.
The Continuous Improvement Coordinator is a member of the Plant Leadership Team with responsibility for the Continuous Improvement function in the Bethel, Connecticut Plant. The person in this position will plan, coordinate, and lead all Continuous Improvement activities in support of business objectives. This position champions the plant's efforts to improve processes and reduce costs using lean tools and six sigma methodology.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $65250.0 - $95700.0 a year.

What you'll do:• Lead teams in the monitoring and improvement of processes to ensure the highest quality product by utilizing EQS, ELSS, and other Eaton and industry best practices.• Champion Factory-Cost Out through EBS, ELS, EQS, and general process efficiency improvement activities to optimize the use of capital and human resources.• Implement methods and practices to reduce variation, with a goal of attaining Six Sigma quality levels. Understand the application of SPC and gage effective use within the factory. Lead and/or perform root cause and corrective action analysis, as required.• Champion a culture of inclusion and accountability by leveraging employees at all levels of the organization in the development and troubleshooting of quality manufacturing processes.• Communicate organization's vision of effectively in verbal, written, and presentation form. Develop goals from both short-term objectives and plant's long term Strategic Plan for CI.• Strong Leadership abilities, experienced in working in a matrix managed environment. Ability to lead others in a dynamic working environment with full focus upon continuous improvement.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.• Minimum of two (2) years experience in a manufacturing environment using CI methodologies.• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 60-mile radius of Bethel, CT will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:• Formal training/certification in Lean tools and/or Six Sigma.
Position Success Criteria:• Exposure to Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Interface.• Thorough working knowledge with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen events, continuous improvement, SPC, and Six Sigma methodologies.• Effective technical writing and presentation skills.• Superb verbal interpersonal and communication skills.• Knowledge of manufacturing structures, varied processes, operating practices, and operating budgets.• Experience managing several projects simultaneously.
