THE ROLE
The Systems Administrator would report to the Manager of Systems Engineering performing functions related to the day-to-day operations of the infrastructure supporting the business including data center operations, hardware, operating systems, user administration, virtualization, and backups and recovery of the environment. This person would work closely with team members around the globe to provide 24x7 support including occasional on-call responsibilities. Sr. Systems Administrator must be able to work well with others, taking direction from team leads to complete his/her own projects, while acquiring information from the team as needed. This person would work to maintain the current environment and meet the needs of users on a day to day basis. The Sr. Systems Administrator will be able to solve problems injecting his/her own experience, assisting less experience team members to complete tasks and developing documentation for standard operating procedures.
You MUST be located near Las Vegas, NV and able to come in-person 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities:Working up to 2 days per week in a large-scale data center facility - Either in Waltham, MA or Las Vegas, NVHelping to integrate hardware, software, network, process and as requiredMaintaining established Linux/Windows environment working tickets as requiredUser and group management in LDAP and Windows ADPerforming system builds and decommissions as requiredPatching of OS, firmware, BIOS of systemsAssisting in effort to integrate hardware, software, network, process and procedure from acquired business unitExecuting a plan for data center consolidation including system builds/tear downs, migration to different data centerDesired Skills and Experience:

SALARY RANGE
The salary range for this role is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00, depending on location and experience.
