Responsibilities Currently seeking a Senior Malware Reverse Engineer to support the Department of Defense Cyber Crimes Center (DC3) in Linthicum Heights, MD. The primary responsibility will focus on isolating, reviewing, analyzing, and reverse-engineering malicious binaries to determine functionality and capability. The Malware Reverse Engineer will analyze samples and provide a written technical report related to the scope, nature, and characteristics of the malicious code. This autonomous role allows for hybrid/remote work, supports active operations and presents the candidate with cutting edge challenges in the malware arena.
Qualifications
Required QualificationsMinimum of 8 years with BS/BA, Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA6 years experience specifically in Malware Analysis, Reverse Engineering or related efforts.Proficiency with a disassembler like IDA Pro or Ghidra and a debugger like OllyDbg, x64Dbg, WinDbg, Immunity, etc.Experience identifying and defeating known or custom packers200 hours of formal, accredited training in related technical specialty fieldsAn active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.2-3 years Red-team experience emulating real-world adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)Desired Qualifications Experience with:
Multiple Assembly LanguagesOther Operating System file formats, such as ELF, Mach-OPython and other programming or scripting languagesReverse Engineering code from mobile devicesTarget Salary Range $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
