Job Overview: As a System Administrator, you will collaborate with a diverse team to support critical programs involving classified information systems. Your role is essential in developing, implementing, and maintaining secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs.
Key Responsibilities:IT Systems Administration: Provide administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.Technical Problem Solving: Utilize troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex technical problems, including hardware and OS integration.Cybersecurity Collaboration: Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes.Documentation & Training: Develop solutions and documentation for various technical problems, along with training end users.24x7 Support: Ensure system operations, occasionally requiring work beyond standard hours.Qualifications You Must Have:
Education: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.Security Clearance: Current and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI CI Poly security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required.Linux Experience: Proven experience administering Red Hat Linux-based systems.Certifications: Active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security).Scripting Skills: Experience with scripting for automation.Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with patching and maintaining RPM packages.Familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket).Knowledge of Jenkins automation.Experience with scanning tools like Nessus/McAfee.Proficiency in enterprise-level DNS and LDAP administration.Pay:
$120,000 - $130,000 with benefitsDuration:
