CACI is looking for a Database Developer/Administrator (DBA) with strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a record of accomplishment in successful project execution.
The DB Developer will support the HIV Management System Project. This is a hybrid work role to include work onsite in New Orleans, LA at Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic and remote work. They must be familiar with C#, SQL Server, and Modern .NET web development.
Applicants must reside in either New Orleans, LA, Norfolk, VA, Charlotte, SC or the DMV area**What You'll Get To Do
You provide a key role in supporting a new data transformation and migration project moving from legacy databases to a new database environment. You will be part of a team where complex problem solving and communication skills are critical to success.Must be proficient in writing SQL in an SQL Server or Oracle environment.Be responsible for reading, writing, and interpreting sql stored procedures and triggers.You will be responsible for building relational databases following design best practices and guidelines.Provide support to production environment data ingestion processes.Identify data anomalies, address data issues by applying data validation rules and remediation routines.The team follows agile methodology. Will logon to remote servers, navigate those environments, and execute programs from a Unix and Windows PowerShell prompt.Work cooperatively with functional and technical staff, to meet timelines and deliverables.Able to work with highly technical IT personnel, understand technical tasking, and explain technical activities to non-technical individuals.May be responsible for development of network diagrams, network data flow diagrams, SOPs and other documentation as required.You'll Bring These Qualifications
Must have active Top Secret clearanceBachelor's or above degree in relevant fieldHands-on experience with Information Technology, to include three of the following areas: Systems Requirements, Project Management and Strategic Planning, HIPAA requirements, Medical Systems, Operational Requirements, Enterprise Strategic Planning and operations, Enterprise systems incident management, Test & Evaluation, and Training.Industry and/or public service leadership expertise demonstrated in one or more of: medical systems; advanced system architecture; information assurance; hardware technologies; digital/analog communications technologies; applied physics; human factors engineering; computer simulation; electronic sensor technologies; and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).5+ years SDLC support experience5+ years SQL DBA experienceMust have experience in SQL Server and PostgreSQL administration.Experience with extract, transform, load (ETL) of data from diverse databases and file structures to leverage in a different target system.Experience in data validation and cleaning to ensure data quality and integrity.Knowledge of .Net, C#, and VBExperience with SQL Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) to understand security risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation steps.Must be familiar working with container application development tools, such as Docker.Experience with the GitHub developer platform.Must have strong problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated writing/editing skills.Able to effectively manage client expectations and support customer relationship management.Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurementsUnderstanding of tools to safeguard and protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI).Security+ certification and/or other IAT Level II or III certificationThese Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have
