Director, Strategic Enterprise Marketing, Financial Services & Process Automation POSITION PROFILE
This position is responsible for helping grow reputation, relationships, and pipeline within assigned horizontal and industry focus areas through the development, implementation, and management of targeted marketing activations. The role is responsible for managing marketing activities, with or without the support of direct reports, from conception through execution, including coordinating with internal teams on campaign overviews, executional plans, GTM data analysis, and results reporting. This position will focus on driving performance within Financial Services, with a concentration on the Banking and Insurance industries. They will also be responsible for GTM strategy relating to Ricoh's Process Automation solutions. The Director should be able to independently drive the GTM success of their assigned area with no more than approximately 15-20% ongoing direction and support from their managing Senior Director.
Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesProactively works with sales and marketing to develop, implement and execute successful GTM plans that ultimately support reputation, relationship, and pipeline generation.Works cross-functionally with marketing, sales, sales operations and other functions to support business initiatives.Provides strategic direction on concepts and messaging for campaigns including emails, print and landing pages/micro sites, working with internal resources or vendors/agencies as needed.Helps direct campaign implementation in the marketing automation platform and CRM system.Helps champion the strategic customer point of view, ensuring marketing communications are relevant for the intended audience.Engages, and shares knowledge and skills, with the marketing team to provide continued awareness of marketing best practices and methodology to ensure that Ricoh is always bench-marking against world class standards.Serves as liaison across departments and functional groups to ensure marketing campaigns are integrated across the company as appropriate.Collaborates with sales operations, field marketing, and channel marketing to provide visibility to marketing campaigns, processes, tools and reports.Manages the creation and communication of new materials and email templates in the marketing automation platform.Participate in brainstorming and creative concept meetings; collaborate with content team to translate strategies outlined in creative briefs into engaging concepts and copy for various business units and clients; generate creative concepts that support marketing strategies and integrated campaigns.Manage Webinar content, in tandem with company and/or industry thought leaders, to generate leads.Performs other duties as required.QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
4-year college degree (Marketing) other related course or certificates or equivalent years of related work experienceMinimum 8 years of experience in a marketing or demand generation environment, preferably with experience in Banking, Insurance, and/or Process AutomationPreference for experience managing one or multiple direct reportsDigital marketing experience is required.Excellent writing and proofing skills required.Strong attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively across and within teams/groupsKNOWLEDGE, Skills And Abilities
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.A clear customer focus and ability to understand the needs of the customers at every level.Proven experience of working closely with sales, marketing, and professional services.Working knowledge of Marketing Automation platforms, multi-media, web layout and industry-standard graphics programs preferredIn-depth knowledge of B2B marketing practices.Excellent project management skills to plan, determine resources, needs, monitor progress, and adhere to project timelines.Must be highly motivated with the ability to handle multiple assignments and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication skillsExcellent writing and editing skillsAbility to build consensus with leaders and work effectively within a cross-departmental teamWORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material, data and instruction - prepare, provide and convey diversified information.Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that typically with less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.).
