Material Handler

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a Material Handler partnership with a prominent client in Owego/Candor, NY within the lumber mill industry. This facility is working in an enclosed mill, indoors with cooling fans and heaters.

Pay: $17.00 per hour1st Shift: Monday - Friday; 6am - 4:30pm2nd Shift: Monday - Friday; 4:00pm - midnight

Job responsibilities will include:General Shipping and receivingMoving material around the lumber yardMaterial separation and pulling lumber from the linesStack lumber on kiln carts from a conveyorLumber Stacker & Material Handler Job Requirements

High School Diploma/GEDStand 8+ hours a dayLift 50 pounds frequentlyExcavator operations experience is not required, but a plus.Must be able to work in warm temperatures during the summer and 50-60-degree weather during the winter
