Job Overview:
Performs basic/advances therapeutic procedures as outlined under the scope of respiratory patient care service within the section of the policy procedure manual. Transcribes and implements physician orders. Uses basic oxygen advanced assessment skills and patient information to maintain awareness of patient care needs.
Qualifications:
Required:
Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Program, RRT or CRT
Associates of Applied Science
Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
Preferred:
ACLS
Bachelor's of Science
Experience
Certifications and Licenses Required:
Registered Respiratory Therapist by NBRC
Licensed by New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care
BLS Certification Required (American Heart Association)
Scheduling Requirements:
Shift working, Days
Per Diem
Essential Functions:
Intubations
Aline insertion
Oxygen therapy
Bronchodilator therapy
Arterial blood gas procedure
Mechanical ventilation management
Noninvasive mechanical ventilation management
