ManTech is seeking a Network Administrator in support of a government contract for wargaming in Quantico, Va.
General Responsibilities
:
Provide support for Network Services, which involves the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and/or management of networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats
Support network operations and sustainment on all system application network systems
Create, maintain, execute, and report on technical service sustainment plans covering the assessment, design, engineering, integration, automation, deployment, upgrade, patching, configuration, monitoring, auditing, and troubleshooting of system application network systems
Establish, measure and report on system application network systems: technical, performance and security baselines
Design, create, deploy, and maintain a comprehensive network service automation and delivery plan integrated to the Data Center Service Catalog for use and consumption by system application network systems
Integrate system application network systems into Data Center and Enterprise ITSM, management, monitoring and cybersecurity tools, systems, and application suites
Monitor and assess data center customer and vendor: release schedules, alerts and notifications; create and maintain a forward schedule of change integrated with the data center IMS and SC covering the induction, upgrade, patching and hotfix application of/to WGC application network systems
Design, publish and maintain an end-to-end network/network service architecture, design and sustainment for: segmentation, traffic flow, IP address management, white/blacklist, iRule/redirection/filtering, net flow, access control, routing, authentication, proxy/reverse proxy, DoD demilitarized zones, public key enabled/public key infrastructure: framework, workflows, templates and common administrative procedures
Create, maintain, and coordinate the execution of individualized network isolation procedures supporting incident/spillage response plans and events
Configure and optimize network hubs, routers, and switches (e.g., higher-level protocols, tunneling)
Develop and implement network backup and recovery procedures
Diagnose network connectivity problem
Implement new system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards
Install and maintain network infrastructure device operating system software (e.g., IOS, firmware)
Install or replace network hubs, routers, and switches
Integrate new systems into existing network architecture
Monitor network capacity and performance
Patch network vulnerabilities to ensure information is safeguarded against outside parties
Provide feedback on network requirements, including network architecture and infrastructure
Test and maintain network infrastructure including software and hardware devices
Other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 to 7 years’ experience. A total of 10 years’ experience without a degree
Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
Must patch and implement security controls in response to IAVAs and OPDIRs on respective network equipment (physical and virtual)
Working knowledge of network standards/protocols/security, hardware, and application virtualization
Working knowledge of local area and wide area networking principles and concepts including bandwidth management
Working knowledge of the Windows and/or Linux Operating systems to include Server and Workstation environments
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Hands-on experience with network equipment including hubs, routers, switches, bridges, firewalls, servers, transmission media, and related hardware
Hands-on experience with network systems design, development, testing, installation, operations, management, and maintenance concepts and methods
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of standard DoD and Marine Corps concepts, practices, and procedures. Familiarity with Navy/Marine Corps interoperability requirements is preferred
Network Security Appliances to include Type1 encryption devices
Video Teleconference (VTC), Desktop VTC, and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) integration and management
WAN technologies, protocols, and optimizers
Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, Linux OS, Networks, MS Exchange, MS Lync, MS SQL Server, SCCM, SCOM, Service Manager, Networked Printers/Services, Distributed File Services, Data Protection Manager, MS SharePoint, PowerShell, JavaScript
Working knowledge of DoD STIGs related to the applicable technologies and how to implement, mitigate, and write POAM statements
Clearance Requirements
:
Current Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
