BLSCompletion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in RadiographyARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligibleCurrent on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRTGraduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school2 years of experience in Mammography preferredKnowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software and eRad is preferredExperience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferredPrior quality control experience preferredWill accept less than 2 years experience and 1st time travelersOther Details:
The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
