LOCATION: Career & Technical Education - Albany Campus
BASIC FUNCTION: Serve in support of the Career and Technical Education School Principal. Comply with and administer the appropriate laws, regulations, policies and procedures affecting the Career and Technical Education Division. Other duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and administer all aspects of secondary Career & Technical Education Program offerings at Capital Region BOCES Career and Technical School(s).
Serve as active member of the CTE Administrative Council, assigned committees and professional organizations.
Responsible for collaborating in design (and redesign) of programs to be recommended to the leadership team and Director.
Supervise Pathway Academy (Alternative Education).
Responsible for student-related discipline.
Job Qualifications
Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university, or one accredited by New York State to grant degrees, with a Master’s Degree in educational leadership or a related field.
New York State certificate in School Building Leader or School Administrator/Supervisor required.
At least three (3) years experience as a Career & Technical educational professional or high school experience preferred.
At least three (3) years experience as a teacher and/or educational administrator.
The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
Salary prorated to the amount of service rendered.
