About this opportunity:

Qualified candidate will drive a Salvation Army vehicle in order to transport passengers and Red Kettle equipment to bell ringing locations.

Key Responsibilities: Provides transportation for bell ringers to kettle sites and the Corps. Picks-up Angel Tree donations from various sites for transport to warehouse. Picks-up and delivers miscellaneous items as needed. Drives carefully and observes/complies with all traffic signs and road/weather conditions to ensure the safety of passengers. Parks vehicle in a safe and clearly marked parking space. Locks vehicle doors when vehicle is not in use. Fuels vehicle in accordance with state gasoline regulations and The Salvation Army standards. Logs all mileage on standard forms; ensures the accuracy and completeness of the same. Arrives at destination according to schedule or telephones ahead when severe delays occur. Maintains control of passenger activities by prohibiting unsafe or non-Christian behavior. Other Responsibilities:

Records time for kettle pickup. May give relief to Bell Ringers to take their 15-minute breaks by ringing the bell at a kettle site. Washes and cleans vehicle regularly. Performs other related work as required. What we are looking for in you:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or G.E.D. and two (2) years of experience operating an automotive vehicle; OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Valid State Driver's License

Medical Certificate
