Job Summary: This position is an assignment made to a full-time staff member in the Medical Assistant program at the Tampa campus following the guidelines established by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs Essential Responsibilities

Researching and understanding the local medical assistant landscape including the hiring needs of local healthcare employers and the current program models of the largest existing medical assistant training programs.

Serving as the primary point of contact for all medical assistant instructors, providing support related to academic operations and program delivery, and answering all requests and questions. Serving as the primary point of contact for local allied health employer partners. Managing all supplies needed to deliver a strong medical assistant program including purchasing, inventory management, and organization. Ensuring that all students in the medical assistant program understand program expectations and have the supports necessary to be successful in the medical assistant training experience. Managing and coordinating all aspects of the medical assistant certification exam to ensure that all students understand the registration process and successful complete the exam. Assisting with recruitment and retention of students for the program area. Working closely with the Accelerate U at NLU medical assistant team (in Chicago) and the NLU Tampa team to ensure strong delivery of the medical assistant program in Florida. Other Duties as assigned. Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Healthcare or related field. A minimum of three years' experience working in a clinical healthcare setting, including at least 1 year of experience in ambulatory setting performing or observing administrative and clinical procedures performed by medical assistants. One year or more managing the delivery of a program or initiative, including overseeing numerous deadlines, coordinating various priorities, and delivering a successful outcome. Communication/Interpersonal:

Speaks in a clear and credible manner, selecting the right tone for the situation and audience. Listens to others and allows them to make their point. Initiative:
