Job Description

Occupational Therapist 4 - Full Time $10,000 Sign On Bonus offered

Deliver occupational therapy services through evaluation of patient needs, goal determination, and development of treatment plans according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy.

Performs advanced, direct occupational therapy services to patients in accordance with generally accepted occupational therapy standards, Maryland State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice, code of ethics, and departmental policies and procedures. Records patient evaluations, re-evaluations and care provided in the medical record in accordance with departmental documentation standards.Assists leadership with interviewing, orienting, training and supervising rehabilitation services staff. Contributes to and/or completes performance evaluations and handles corrective actions. Supports an open and goal-oriented work environment with established clear and concise work procedures and productivity standards. Collaborates with leadership in identifying gaps and opportunities for professional development and advancement activities.Collaborates with leadership in identifying gaps and opportunities for program development, performance improvement and strategic organizational initiatives.Assists leadership in the identification and resolution of complex clinical and operational issues in order to assure high quality care, and efficient departmental operations. Facilitates a positive culture.Ensures interdisciplinary, safe, patient-centered care and delivers excellent customer serviceQualifications

Bachelor s degree required. Master s degree preferred.5 years of relevant experience required.Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of MarylandCurrent ACLS or BCLS certificationAdditional Information
