Job Responsibilities:

Advise clients on product attributes and qualities that align with their needs by networking, observing and analyzing market trends, and using personal judgment.Create strategic client-centric marketing plans, including identifying potential clients and determining when and how often to visit them.Cold call potential clients using customized sales and marketing scripts tailored to each client. Create pre- and post-visit reports, assess client purchasing potential, and deliver analysis to senior management.Collaborate on developing the company's core message to clients.Develop event strategies, lead and organize events for specific clients with full discretion over budgets and invitees.Prepare sales documents to initiate and close sales. Collaborate on creating installation layouts from a design perspective.Perform other assigned tasks and duties.Job Requirements:

B.A. / B.S. Degree preferably in Interior Design or related field, and a minimum of 2 years of sales experience "to the trade." Alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of sales experience "to the trade" can substitute for the educational preferences mentioned above.Must have strong relationships with interior design clientele.Must possess a strong interest in the interior design trade, along with excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.Advanced knowledge of carpet qualities, attributes, and manufacturing techniques is preferred.Pay Range:

$80,000 - $120,000/annuallyBase pay commensurate with experience. Eligible for additional sales commission and/or sales incentive bonus.
