JOB SUMMARY
Final inspection for the cast product to meet the customer requirements and internal specifications.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to and enforce proper safety/security procedures and protocol. Learn to read and follow all applicable internal and customer specifications. Perform visual inspection of castings per engineering requirements. Sample and inspect dimensions with gauging and standard measurement inspection tools; calipers, gaging. Verify that all processing paperwork has been completed correctly. Document and report on non-conforming material or paperwork found during final inspections. Communicate clearly with managers, supervisors, and/or Engineering. Lift and carry baskets. Enter data into computer.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Experience : At least 1 year experience in quality or inspection. Certifications/Licenses : None Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of metric system. Ability to read. Ability to process new information. Basic computer skills. Reasoning ability. Good verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Detail oriented. Accurate. Mechanically inclined. Safety conscious. Team oriented.
