Tesla is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our 4680 Cell Can Stamping team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities with a focus on the Toolroom.The scope of this position covers all technologies used in assigning work to our Equipment Maintenance Technicians and Tool & Die Specialists. Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating all die set maintenance, ordering and tracking tooling, failure analysis, and ensuring equipment availability and performance to meet our high volume production goals.
Responsibilities
Coordinate status and repair timelines for all die sets to meet production goalsEvaluation of work orders for assignment of parts, tools and time required for repair (Flux)Accountable for coordinating all materials and validating it's ready for work executionManage spare parts inventory related to die set components, workload prioritizing for die sets for optimal return to production timingAnalyze work order feedback, execute follow-up actions and work with operations team to understand prioritiesCreate weekly reports of die set maintenance KPIs (Availability, MTBF, MTTR, PM compliance)Auditor of PM execution and accuracy for all toolroom activitiesRequirements
2+ years in an industrial manufacturing environment, high volume metal stamping operations is preferredProficiency in Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)Self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve, with demonstrated ability to identify process issues and drive improvementsDemonstrated experience and ability to be proactive, work with minimal guidance while operating under pressure in a fast pace environment that occasionally requires extended hoursDemonstrated lean manufacturing knowledge and principlesTPM and/or autonomous maintenance knowledge and experienceCommand of the English language, both verbal and writtenCompensation and BenefitsBenefits
