Job Summary:
Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure and AWS to support the data modernization project. Lead the architecture and development of a real-time data analytics platform to monitor and analyze student attendance data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the cloud infrastructure meets project needs. Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation and best practices. Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud solutions. Mentor and provide guidance to junior cloud engineers and other team members. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
•Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure and AWS to support the data modernization project
•Lead the architecture and development of a real-time data analytics platform to monitor and analyze student attendance data
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the cloud infrastructure meets project needs
•Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation and best practices
•Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud solutions
•Mentor and provide guidance to junior cloud engineers and other team members
•Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the cloud infrastructure
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
•Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering
•Proficiency in both Azure and AWS cloud platforms
•Strong understanding of real-time data processing and analytics
•Experience with data modernization projects and large-scale data management
•Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Strong communication and collaboration skills
•Relevant certifications in Azure and AWS are highly desirable
Primary Skills:
•Experience with different cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
•Experience in cloud migrations from legacy on-prem databases and systems (i.e., Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
•Experience setting up cloud data platforms and data warehouses in Azure or AWS (i.e., AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Azure Synapse)
•Experience implementing real-time data streaming, processing, and analytics solutions (i.e., Kafka, Spark, Amazon Kinesis, or Azure Stream)
•Experience in ETL and data migration scripting (i.e., Python, Spark Scala, SQL, Databricks, etc.)

Bachelors Degree
