Our commitment to career development has created tenure and loyalty that enables us to perpetuate our family atmosphere.Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HCM Project Leader to head our implementation team for Dayforce, our new Human Capital Management (HCM) and payroll system. As the Project Manager for this HCM/payroll project, you will lead the team in overseeing the implementation of the Dayforce system within our organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration and rollout of Dayforce in three phases, with the goal of enhancing operational efficiency, financial transparency, and workforce management.Responsibilities:Successfully manage delivery of an end-to-end HCM projectServe as the strategic and tactical leader between the project team and executive management/steering committeeParticipate in discovery, design, configuration, testing, cutover, communications, and training initiatives related to the projectDevelop full-scale project plans and associated communication strategy.Create and manage roadmaps, manage day to day monitoring tasks and activities, and initiate corrective action where necessary to keep the project on track.Effectively communicate project expectations to internal and external project interdisciplinary team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashionManage the contracts (software vendor and implementation partner) based on agreed scope as defined in Statement of Work, manage scope creep, ensure change requests are clearly called out, agreed, and impacted against timelineContinually assess action items, risks, and issues maintaining risk and issue logs and contingency plansValidate the time spent and work performed by external implementation partner resources and escalate deviations from resource plansDevelop and deliver progress reports and escalate any issues, as appropriate, in a timely mannerIdentify and manage project dependencies and critical path deliverablesDevelop and maintain backlog of product enhancements to meet tactical needs and strategic goalsEnsure that proper approvals are completed at appropriate project milestones, and ensure adherence to all standard components of the system development lifecycleLead regular project reviews with project stakeholders and executive management to keep the project on track and on budgetParticipate and lead aspects of the proposal development processLead effective change management initiativesQualifications:7+ years of relevant HCM experience2 years of experience leading HCM projects and workstreams in a complex environment that includes multi-state/multinational union and nonunion environmentsExperience with leading at least 3 end-to-end HCM implementation projectMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureBachelor's degreeStrong verbal and written communications skills.Ability to understand business processes & requirements.Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks.Demonstrated track record of leading effective change management initiativesOmni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer - vets/disability.
