Insight Global is looking for a Help Desk Specialist to join one of our clients. This is a remote role. The ideal candidate will respond to IT help desk requests and route them to the appropriate personnel. They ill also provide end-user support for desktop hardware and software requests. They will act as a back up when other IT staff are not available. They will provide support for account-management issues.Compensation: $20/hr to $24/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience
3-4 years of help desk experienceKnowledge of the following to provide intermediate-level technical support services:o Microsoft Windows and Officeo Basic desktop, laptop, and printer hardware troubleshooting and maintenance (i.e. can replace a hard drive or RAM module)o Basic printero Basic local area networking (LAN) experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
o User management in Active Directoryo Office 365 SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Onlineo PowerShello Windows 10/11, Windows ServerAble to build a desktop computer from basic components and install an operating system
