Nuclear Quality Assurance Engineer
in our Nuclear division to join the Corporate QA team at our company headquarters. The successful candidate will assist with and provide for the planned and systematic approach to the company's Quality Assurance Program by ensuring that corporate programs, pump repairs and services conform to established
Nuclear
requirements. This is a great opportunity working in a challenging and rewarding environment with some of the most talented professionals in the nuclear pump industry.The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding of
ASME Section III, 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR21, and NQA-1
and have a desire to be trained and mentored to achieve an expert level of understanding of these standards. The candidate may work toward becoming a qualified NQA-1 lead auditor and will have some experience working in the nuclear power industry.Essential Job Responsibilities:Interpret the requirements of quality standards, such as
ASME Section III, NQA-1, ISO-9001, and 10CFR50 Appendix B , for their application to the Quality Assurance Program and supply baseServe as an interface with customers, regulators, and registrars during audits of such as
