What will I be doing?
As the General Manager, you would be responsible for managing daily hotel operations and providing overall leadership in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Lead, direct and manage all hotel operations including budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, service initiatives, and managing balanced scorecard performance.
Ensure guest and team member satisfaction.
Monitor and develop team member performance, particularly the executive team and department heads.
Recruit, interview and train team members.
Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and standards compliance.
Identify operational performance gaps and implement corrective measures.
Serve as primary liaison with hotel owners and corporate entities.
What are we looking for?
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a General Manager in a full-service hotel.
Experience managing a property with $25M or greater in revenue.
Proven leadership experience in managing properties with 250+ rooms.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with property owners.
Skilled in managing unionized environments.
Executive presence with polished interpersonal skills.
Solid financial acumen, with a proven track record in managing budgets and driving profitability.
Proven innovative revenue-generating strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Local market experience
