Join our team! We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Aircraft Maintenance Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with FAA Part 121 (Air Carriers) and FAA Part 145 (Repair Stations) regulations, as well as commercial maintenance plans, and demonstrate excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills. This role involves managing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements.

IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries. https://www.sncorp.com/company/business-areas/Responsibilities:Develop and/or maintain maintenance schedules for the fleet in compliance with FAA Part 121 and FAA Part 145 regulationsCoordinate with Program Operations Manager, Modification Operations Manager, Engineering, Logistics, and Procurement to ensure efficient planning and execution of all maintenance activitiesDetermine requirements for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standardsUtilize maintenance tracking software to monitor aircraft status and schedule necessary maintenance actionsPrepare and distribute work orders and maintenance packages to appropriate teamsEnsure availability of required parts, tools, and equipment for maintenance tasksReview and analyze aircraft data to optimize maintenance planningManage and update maintenance records in accordance with FAA regulationsMonitor and report on maintenance progress to ensure timely completion and complianceCoordinate with third-party maintenance providers as neededAssist in developing and maintaining budgetary and logistical plans for aircraft maintenanceDevelop plans to recover from operational disruptions that conflict with scheduled maintenanceMust-haves:Bachelors degree in aviation management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of experience across aircraft maintenance, planning, and quality controlFamiliarity with FAA Part 121 and FAA Part 145 regulations and standardsProficient in using maintenance management software such as Veryon Tracker or MESExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work collaboratively with various departments and external stakeholdersDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if neededExperience with ATA aircraft manuals, including Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC), and Fault Isolation Manual (FIM), for both line and base level maintenanceExperience with commercial maintenance plansThe ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is requiredPreferred:Experience in Supply Chain Management and /or Operations ManagementFamiliarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR)Understanding of Unified Commercial Code (UCC)Prior experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and /or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) SystemsBackground in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US MilitarySNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.IMPORTANT NOTICE:This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
