***Only candidates that have experience in Metal Stamping manufacturing will be considered.***Director of OperationsManagement of manufacturing departments and coordination with other functional departments to achieve the goals and guidelines.Responsibility for the manufacturing management of the Tennessee facility.Coordination of the manufacturing activities with other functional areas.Personally, and collectively for the manufacturing departments, present an image to the marketplace of high quality, workmanship and capability.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Management of all Tennessee manufacturing departments including equipment maintenance.Develop and execute manufacturing strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability targets are consistently met or exceeded.Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that manufactured products meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, industry standards, and quality management systems, such as IATF/ISO certifications.Development and management of a continuous improvement culture focusing on quality and cost improvements.Assure proper staffing of each functional area to support production needs.Maintain customer contact for production issues.Maintain cost controls for manufacturing operations.Administration of and participation in various staff, facility and production meetings.Assure that the proper and necessary manufacturing resources are in place to provide maximum efficiency of operation.Establish manufacturing and quality goals and expectations.Monitor operational performance: develop plans, goals and improvement opportunities.Provide leadership, mentoring and support to the team.Required Skills:Strong leadership and management abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.Proven experience in developing and implementing manufacturing strategies that drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices within the manufacturing industry.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Educational Requirements:Undergraduate degree in engineering, business, or related fieldPhysical Requirements:See form HR501Experience Requirements:8-10 years in a manufacturing environment8-10 years in a management positionStrong track record of successfully managing large-scale manufacturing operations, preferably within a complex operation.Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes, technologies, and best practices.Required Training:ISO 14001 overviewIATF 16949 overviewSafety and health training as applicable.
