POSITION: DEPOSIT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

As Deposit Operations Specialist, you are responsible for performing the daily analysis of all data entry and file maintenance done for all deposit system applications and accounts, to ensure accuracy and appropriate authorization for changes.
Key Result Areas:
Responsible for processing customer-initiated and internal transactions, foreign check collection processes, CD renewal and closeout requests, processing deposit account interest rate concessions, stopping and reissuing bank checks, and reviewing on-us stop payments. Verify accuracy and completeness of information received and processed while strictly adhering to established procedures.
Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure the integrity of deposit account documentation. Coordinate the tracking and reporting of missing and incomplete documents to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, the Customer Identification Program, and regulatory standards. Provide weekly reporting of issues using the Pending Document and Operational Summary Reports and work closely with business lines to address questions and resolve outstanding issues. Review various reports to identify and resolve errors and, when required, ensure proper documentation was obtained.
Index records received by business lines through Cambridge Savings Bank’s digital archival system, ensuring accurate data entry and quality control of documentation.
Receive, open, and distribute mail to appropriate team members and departments. Respond to customer correspondence received by department, ensuring adherence to established procedures. Review and process address changes received by mail, verifying they are properly authorized. Remove and add verify address restrictions following established policy.
Work collaboratively with departments across the bank while ensuring duties are performed according to established policies and procedures and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Adhere to controls and risk management measures and prevent operational losses.
Prioritize and complete tasks and assignments within assigned deadlines.
Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
High school education.
3-5 years’ experience in Retail Banking or Bank Operations.
Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to include both written and oral, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
Computer skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams etc.
