This pivotal role is crucial in driving key performance metrics such as growth, profitability, new business acquisition, exposure management, and client retention within your territory.Responsibilities include:Collaborating with branch offices to oversee and enhance new and renewal business operations.Supporting pipeline management and ensuring key account retention.Acting as the primary referral channel for underwriting decisions that exceed branch level authority.Building underwriting acumen by training and developing team members.Making recommendations on underwriting authority.Fostering strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including customers and agencies/brokers.The ideal candidate will possess:A robust background in underwriting.Outstanding communication skills.A proven track record in engaging with partners through regular visits.The ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and confidently utilize underwriting authority.Regular travel (approximately 35%) within the designated territory is a requirement of this role.Hiring Manager TitleEVP, CI Casualty Manager
