PRIMARY FUNCTION :The Business Continuity Analyst Sr is responsible for assisting in building, maintaining, and leading the ISamp;Trsquo;s business continuity management and disaster recovery program. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on key BCP initiatives and work to develop new and improve existing documentation. In addition will assist in developing initiatives as directed.Administer and maintain tools that support expeditious response and recovery and provide education to others on the use of tools. Provide consultation to business units and corporate units to ensure success of the business continuity program by leading the development of continuity plan material as well as tracking all progress related to plan development.Build and maintain relationships with operational areas outside of ISamp;T to provide consulting on business continuity.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Performs in-depth Business Impact Analysis (BIA) surveys with each identified department annually or as needed.Develops and maintains all business continuity plans and downtime procedures (e.g., contact lists, personnel assignments, hardware and software specifications, network diagrams, vital records management and inventory lists, off-site back-up schedules, etc.), including reviewing all business continuity documentation to ensure proper alignment with the Business Continuity Policy.Coordinates business continuity and crisis management exercises including tabletop, work area recovery and full-scale drills.Administration and maintenance of tools that support expeditious response and recovery, including administrating electronic access to and hard copy distribution of, business continuity plans and downtime procedures.Ensures all personnel with specific Business Continuity responsibilities are adequately trained to fulfill their assigned responsibilities. Ensures all employees maintain their familiarity with the relevant provisions of the Business Continuity Plans.Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.OTHER FUNCTIONS AND COMPETENCIES:Generates metrics by collecting and reporting on dataAssist in audits and regulatory requests by gathering evidence, tracking progress, following up on outstanding items, and reportingSupports other information security operations as required
EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor#39;s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field preferred._________________________________________________________________________CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION:
