The pay range per hour is $24.00 - $40.80Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and may include education, work experience, and certifications. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food-safe experience.As a General Merchandise Team Leader, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day most likely will include the following responsibilities:Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.Execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement.With the guidance from the Executive Team Leader, help lead the understanding of operational procedures.Help empower the team to create a consistent experience for our guests.Assist with execution of processes in inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes.Help create a scheduling plan approved by your ETL based on monthly and weekly business workload and guest traffic.Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team.Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.Address store needs (emergency, regulatory visits, etc.).All other duties based on business needs.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORHigh school diploma or equivalent.Age 18 or older.Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.Ability to lead and hold others accountable.Welcoming and helpful attitude.Effective communication skills.Target will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the San Francisco and City of Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinances.Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)Target will provide reasonable accommodations with the application process upon your request as required to comply with applicable laws.
