Job Description:
Programming Skills: Proficiency in Golang, JAVA, and Python (bonus).
Automation Testing: Strong experience with automation testing frameworks such as JMeter, Locust, Selenium, and Cucumber, BDD Framework.
Script Development: Ability to write scripts for various testing needs, including mocking data and building logic.
CI/CD: Experience in integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines, specifically using GitLab.
API Testing: Familiarity with Restful APIs and API testing tools.
Performance Testing: Knowledge of performance testing, scaling, and related aspects.
Security Testing: Understanding of vulnerability scanning and security testing principles, including tools like OWASP ZAP.
Version Control: Proficiency with Git.
Additional Skills: Hands-on experience with AWS.
Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with AST: Experience working on Application Security Testing (AST).
Job Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, and maintains automation systems and tools to be used by development and/or test engineers.
Oversees automated tests integration into the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
Designs and authors test cases for unit, functional, and/or integration testing (where applicable).
Manages and grooms the automated and manual test suites regularly to ensure proper balance between coverage and fast feedback cycles.
Grows and maintains technical skills and expertise through continuing education and training.
Provides internal training on relevant skills and tools that support Continuous Testing.
Contributes to Test Community of Practice to evolve testing practices, quality standards and tools.
Leads defect management.
Interfaces with external teams on test strategy and ensures alignment to test execution.
Influences and drives quality across teams, disciplines, and the organization.
Ensures requirements and/or user stories are testable.
Clarifies any ambiguity with requirements, user stories, design and other artefacts produced as part of the product lifecycle.
Provides estimates for user stories and tasks.
Directs testability of requirements and/or user stories.
Leads and provides input to all test activities.
Closely coordinates with both Dev and Ops regarding testing practices and ensuring quality thresholds are met.
Contributes to Design and Design reviews.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
