Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented Project Coordinator to join our Infrastructure Risk and Resiliency team, supporting our due diligence managers in evaluating potential data center locations.As a Project Coordinator in the AWS Infrastructure Risk and Resiliency team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of due diligence projects. Your responsibilities will include setting up and maintaining project information, managing project schedules, supporting procurement activities, assisting with project budgets, and organizing data output for downstream teams' usage. This position requires a strong background in data management and analysis, as well as a keen understanding of process improvement methodologies.Key job responsibilities
Assist due diligence managers in setting up and maintaining project information for potential data center locationsDevelop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestonesSupport the procurement of due diligence vendorsMonitor and report on project finances, including budget tracking and forecastingOrganize and prepare data output for downstream teams, ensuring accuracy and accessibilityImplement and maintain project management tools and processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline project workflows and improve efficiencyAnalyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvementCreate and maintain project documentation, including status reports and presentations for leadershipAssist in the development of best practices and standard operating procedures for project managementMinimum Requirements
3+ years of program or project management experience3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experienceKnowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvementsExperience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience3+ years of driving process improvements experienceExperience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organizationExperience building processes, project management, and schedulesAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.
