Candidates for this role at the company should have a strong background in global procurement, particularly within the biopharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading global teams and processes, and of driving strategic change and efficiency. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for an advanced degree or certification. The role demands a leader with at least 20 years of experience, including managing Director+ level professionals, and a deep understanding of procurement processes, systems, and tools.
