The VP will also be accountable for managing a team to support the short and long-term vision of the Center of Excellence, with a focus on talent development and retention. Key responsibilities include acting as an influential leader, leading senior management discussions, and representing the company in critical organizational decisions. Candidates for this role at the company should have a strong background in global procurement, particularly within the biopharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading global teams and processes, and of driving strategic change and efficiency. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for an advanced degree or certification. The role demands a leader with at least 20 years of experience, including managing Director+ level professionals, and a deep understanding of procurement processes, systems, and tools.
