About us:As a Federally Qualified Health Center in Northern California with over 45 years of dedicated service to the community, LifeLong serves over 66,000 patients in the East Bay Area's socio-economically underserved regions. We provide medical, dental, behavioral health, and school-based services at more than 15 primary care sites across Oakland, Berkeley, and West Contra Costa County. From opening a residential respite program for homeless persons discharged from the hospital to offering free COVID testing to the community, we are innovative and responsive to our times' social and medical needs. Lead efforts to identify and develop new programs and opportunities that align with LifeLong’s mission and community needs.Planning, Grants and Donor Development:
Prioritize funder relationships with local, state and federal agencies, along with private philanthropy and individual donors.Government and Community Relations:
Cultivate strong relationships with elected officials and public sector leaders to ensure a strong position for LifeLong Medical for legislative advocacy, funding, and contracting opportunities.External Communications and Marketing : Develop branding and marketing strategies that increase LifeLong’s visibility to reach the community in need of services.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required, with a Master’s Degree in Public Healthcare or Business Administration preferred.Senior-level management experience with a minimum of 15 years in supervisory roles.Proven success in scaling complex organizations, leading cross-functional teams, and fostering collaboration and innovation.Expertise in strategic planning, creating efficiencies, and driving problem-solving for organizational growth.Strong background in grant writing, donor development, government contracting, and building external partnerships.Effective communicator with experience in managing change, influencing diverse stakeholders, and fostering a mission-driven team environment.Commitment to primary care services for underserved communities, with sensitivity to diverse populations and demonstrated servant leadership.
