Executive Secretary - Office of the Judicial Administrator,

The Office of the Judicial Administrator, Louisiana Supreme Court, seeks an Executive Secretary to perform advanced secretarial and administrative duties supporting the Judicial Administrator of the Court. The Judicial Administrator oversees the Office of the Judicial Administrator, which handles many of the administrative responsibilities of the Louisiana Supreme Court. Duties include providing executive level secretarial support to the Judicial Administrator, managing communications with judges and members of the public, scheduling appointments and maintaining office calendar, handling special projects, procurement and other departmental responsibilities, and tasks as assigned by the Judicial Administrator. Work requires strong multitasking and organizational skills, and a high degree of initiative, independent judgment, and maintenance of confidentiality. Must have six years of progressively responsible secretarial experience as an administrative, executive or legal secretary. Paralegal experience is a plus. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for three years of the required experience. Ideal candidate must be detail oriented and able to handle and prioritize duties and complex work assignments efficiently. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with high level officials from across the state. Must also possess advanced computer skills with a high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and excellent grammar and writing skills. This position will also be responsible for tasks assigned by the Chief Deputy Judicial Administrator. Testing may be required. Excellent benefits and paid parking in the French Quarter. EOE M/F/V/D
