Cloud Network & Computer Systems Administrator
to be part of our Information Technology Team supporting NAWCAD at Patuxent River, MD. The Administrator tasking includes operations, administration, maintenance, compliance, break/fix, activities for servers, appliances, storage devices on premise, in labs and in cloud environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide intermediate level IT Administration support for virtual and physical computers/servers/appliances or other devices including but not limited to install, config, maintenance, compliance, and decommissioningSupport VMware systems hosting virtualized workstations and/or serversSupport Windows and/or Linux based systemsSupport Windows Active DirectorySupport routing, switching and other site to site network connectivity componentsCreate STIG checklists and ACAS scans in support of the Navy RMF process and NIST standardsInstall and support Operating Systems and Applications throughout the lifecyclePerform backup and recovery functionsPrepare, update, and audit standard operating procedures, event response procedures and/or maintenance instruction documentsMay lead or mentor othersRequired Skills:
Clearance Required: Top Secret, Interim TS to start. The applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Ability to maintain a Top Secret ClearanceKnowledge of DoD Information Assurance practices, including Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG)Must be able to interact with peers, management, and senior engineers in a constantly evolving environment to ensure a positive customer experience and atmosphere in the workplace.3+ years of related IT experience requiredAssociate Degree requiredExperience with Windows and Linux based OSDoD 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2) (Examples of minimum acceptable certifications-CCNA Security, CySA+, G SEC, Security+ CE, SSCP)Desired Skills:
Past DoD system administration experienceBachelor's degree in IT field desired#cjpost
