About this Opportunity:
This position is responsible for receiving, sorting, pricing, and preparing donated items for display in the store.
Key responsibilities:Determine suitability and pricing of items based on established standards.Assist in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the storage and sorting area.Assists customers in unloading donations, locating and/or selecting store items; stocks and arranging store items in a neat and orderly manner; monitoring the store displays and performing various cleaning activities to ensure the store is properly maintained.Performs other work as required.What we are looking for in you:
No formal education or experience required.
Ability to sort items in accordance with established categories.Ability to determine the condition of items in accordance with established standards. Ability to follow instructions and work independently.Ability to maintain the store displays in a neat and orderly manner.
Work is performed in a store and warehouse environment where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull moderately heavy (25-50 lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment. Moderate mobility; duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis.
