Futronics, a global AI robotics company in stealth mode, is looking for an energetic, experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join the team in Pasadena, CA. You will have the unique opportunity to work both on the new line of Enterprise service robots and also grow our talented R&D team to drive our innovative next-generation service robots. The R&D team is made up of a diverse set of skilled researchers and engineers with different areas of expertise including Autonomous Navigation, Perception and Computer Vision, Human-Robot Interaction, Manipulation and Control, and Mechatronics. The ideal candidate has a successful track record in productizing applications and will be able to work hand in hand with the team to deliver the newest cutting edge AI robotic ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Define, develop, execute, report test that adequately cover all product requirements and use casesEvaluate developers' work and create and execute tests to identify bugs and software errorsCreate processes and tests to analyze bugs and errors during the tests and collaborate with development team to reduce bugs and ensure the product meets the user expectationsPerform white or black box manual testing as needed while automating the test process as much as possibleDocument the bugs and errors during the test phase and clearly communicate the results and findings with the software development teamRecommend improvements in software to enhance user experience and motivate the development process for efficiency and high-quality performanceMinimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or equivalent1 year participated in FDA/QSR/ISO or some other certification QA auditing process5 years of QA experienceTest experience in at least two of following categories: embedded system, firmware, webservice, electrical and mechanicalExperience in testing methodologies and standard QA development toolsExperience with Linux OS and android OSExperience in QA automationProficient in at least one of coding languages: in C++ , Python, Bash, ROS and JavaGreat written and verbal communication skillsA quality mindset that always aiming for robust and reliable software systemsPreferred Qualifications:

5 or more years' experience participating in FDA medical device development, OA process auditing5 years of experience as QA Lead or 3 years in Dev-OP and/or embedded system developmentComfortable with leading a team and proactively supporting multiple teams in an organizationExperience with robotics or AI softwareExperience with ROS, RTOSExperience in medical device developmentFluency in Mandarin to communicate with Production teams in China
