We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in the design and development of our conversational AI and clinical automation platforms. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and healthcare experts to design, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions that facilitate seamless communication between patients, medical professionals, and healthcare systems. Join our team of experienced back end, distributed computing and data/ml platform engineers in shaping the future of healthcare technology. Career Level - IC4 Responsibilities Responsibilities + Lead the design and implementation of complex software systems + Act in engineering capacity to build and productize complex clinical systems that integrate with AI / ML and medical tooling like Multum, MedRT, Snomed, and more. + Develop, maintain, and optimize high-quality code to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software products. + Participate in architectural discussions and provide technical guidance to ensure the adoption of best practices and alignment with the overall technology roadmap. + Work closely with data scientists, product managers, and engineering peers to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver features in a timely manner. + Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. + Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards. + Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software and data engineering, conversational AI, clinical automation, and healthcare IT.
